Royal Parks supporters run 117 miles to raise £7,700

A big congratulations go to our nine fundraisers who took part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon on Sunday 13 October. They each ran over 13 miles to raise over £7,700 in sponsorship to benefit our charity.

We are incredibly grateful to brothers Connor, Frankie and Jack who ran in memory of Connor’s late daughter Evelyn Rae and raised a wonderful £1,430.

Well done too to staff at Croydon Health Services NHS Trust. Darren, our Mortuary Manager; Hannah, our Pregnancy Loss Specialist Midwife; Rachel, our Deputy Director of Midwifery, Chloe, one of our Community Children’s Nurse and Laura, our Head of Fundraising.

Many of our runners were raising funds to redevelop Maternity’s bereavement garden suite and would appreciate your donation if you would still like to acknowledge their efforts.

It was the charity’s last challenge event of 2024 and they all did brilliantly-each doing themselves proud by finishing the event.
