What We Do
Supporting one of the capital’s largest and most diverse boroughs, our charity helps people of all ages, from all walks of life to have the best possible experience of NHS care during what can often be some of the most difficult times in their lives.
We provide practical and emotional support for staff and patients of Croydon Health Services NHS Trust. We raise money and fund projects in one of London’s largest boroughs. We do this by:
- Refurbishing parts of our hospitals and community services
- Funding state-of-the-art equipment
- Supporting life-changing research to pioneer new treatments
- Funding staff health and wellbeing projects
Our funding is always above and beyond statutory provision. Whether it’s a new staff rest area or medical equipment, wellbeing resources, specialist training or recognition badges, our work is varied and far reaching.
The Need
Croydon is one of London’s fastest growing boroughs with over 380,000 residents. Compared to the average Londoner, people in Croydon have a higher rate of diabetes and heart disease. Croydon also has the youngest population of any London borough, including a large number of looked after children.
We work in partnership with donors to ensure their gift has the greatest impact. Our supporters mean the world as our work is only possible thanks to their generosity.
We are helping care for Croydon.
